Augmented Reality

Augmented reality is a technology that allows us to experience the real world and three-dimensional environment together. With this technology, we can instantly transfer three-dimensional objects and animations to the environment we desire. As an example of these transfers;

  • Museums
  • Food and beverages
  • Art galleries
  • Architectural engineering applications

Augmented Reality applications can be used in many fields. One of these is location tracking. For example, in an application designed for hotels, when a guest opens the app, they can choose their desired destination. By holding up their phone, they can follow arrows displayed on the screen to navigate to their chosen location.

Another example of an application is for architectural design. In this system, users can see location visuals directly on the drawing within the application, as if they were on their own desk. They can gain insights into the dimensions and place orders accordingly.

In a museum designed in three dimensions, visitors can explore through Virtual Reality glasses, and obtain information from desired areas. With these designs and animations, information can be provided in a more detailed manner.

Through Augmented Reality applications, it is possible to develop applications that allow people exploring museums and historical sites to obtain real-time information about their surroundings.

For example, in a museum, by pointing the phone towards a cube that represents certain artifacts, the application can display a fully modeled version of the object in real-time.

Additionally, through Augmented Reality applications, pointing a phone at a sculpture in an outdoor area enables access to any desired information about that sculpture.
